After Thorian successfully advanced to the third phase, all the injuries on his body were completely healed. He was dragging Nox by the hair, walking towards Enrickās direction to give his brother a closer look at the princess.Yasmin was about to die....
His brother screamed with pain and madness unlike anything before, though those words were not directed at him, but towards Enrick.
"NOOOOOOOOO......"
"DONāT YOU FUCKING DARE TOUCH HER. I WILL KILL YOU...."

Each agonized scream and word uttered by Nox felt like a divine melody in Thorianās ears. His calm, collected demeanor slowly peeled away, a dark smile blooming on his lips.
Until he laughed in maniacal joy at seeing Nox suffer so much, but his half-brother didnāt pay him any heed; he had already lost his mind.
But in that exact instance, a sudden shift occurred in the isolated area of their own making, something that instantly made his expression change, as he possessed the control over the artifact that was used for isolating this part of the battlefield.
He felt two distinct presences step into the area, and he immediately frowned. It should not be possible for that to happen. Because many other powerful Seekers were also trying to break in, but they would be captured by the fogās outer edge, become confused, and be led right back out.
Before he could think any further, he saw with his own eyes a handsome elven figure with ominous red eyes, placing his hand upon the neck of Enrick. He was so fast that Thorian didnāt even notice when he had appeared. But judging from the looks of the figure, it was obvious that he was from the Ghost Armyās side.
Things happened so fast that it became an incomprehensible trail of events in a mere few seconds. Enrick transformed into a half-beast state, disappearing from his spot. The mysterious elven figure, with one stomp, crushed the head of the princess.
Thorian was shocked; he ignored the wailing screams of his brother, who had lost his mind. Since Thorian stood quite far away from Enrick, he could sense the profane presence of the Elven entity standing against the Transcendent Tamer.
Just as he was about to kill his brother to go and help Enrick kill the unknown party, and get this thing over with, he heard the chuckle of a female voice from behind. A rough but soft hand also grabbed his neck.
Thorianās pupils widened in a similar terror to what Enrick felt; every hair on his body stood on end. Without the slightest regard for what would happen to Nox, by the force of his survival instincts flaring up like never before, he dashed out of the grip that held his neck from behind.
In that one movement, he did not hold back the slightest bit of his power; all that he could muster was brought out at the threat of his death. Holding his own neck, he gasped for breath; the sensation felt so real that he felt like he had nearly died.
Only then could he gaze at the figure who had placed the hands of death upon his neck. It was a woman with a curvaceous and attractive body. An elegant, noble dress covered her entire body, only showing a small part of her upper neck.
A strange mask covered her face, which only showed her mouth and eyes, hiding the rest. Her eyes were vicious; there was a wildness within the woman that could not be hidden. But also an unbridled confidence through which she carried herself.
The woman chuckled once more at him and then brought out a majestic runic spear, shimmering with power. Thorian took a few more steps backward, sensing the odd threatening power oozing out of her like a tide.
A corroding power that he had never sensed before, it was obvious that the woman was likely one of the human seekers from the minor kingdoms. Thorian was ready for his counterattack, his adaptation ready to activate.
But she did not attack him, but glanced at his brother, who had lost his mind in rage and continued shouting and screaming nonstop, with one graceful swing.
Squelch...
Noxās head was decapitated. The masked woman said with cold scorn, "PrivilegedTrash."
Her voice, despite being pleasant to the ear, was like that of a ruffian. She did not act like a noble, even though she wore the dress of one; to Thorian, she felt more like a thug. There was also an innate hatred contained in her tone for those who were privileged.
Thorianās expression turned grim.
Her gaze then turned towards Thorian once more, her eyes shimmered in a red demonic light for a moment, and she said in disdain, "Now, only you are left as the only heir of the Blackvale throne. Let me see if you have what it takes to get out of here alive?"
Her pressure as a mid-third-phase seeker pressed down on Thorian, but it was not merely a pressure made up of her denser form of mana compared to Thorian; in that wave of mana, there was a trace of the dark demonic energy.
Even though it was merely a small trace of the Demonic Energy that the woman was using as a reinforcement mechanism for the mana, and not using it directly.
Instantly, Thorian was exposed to even that smallest trace of the demonic energy. A tremor ran through his very soul. A memory that he did not remember, a memory that was erased from the records of his very soul, made his fear flare up like never before.
Even though the memory of it was gone, he had once experienced this malevolent energy before. When Axel, back at the academy, knocked them out, transforming into a demon. Then erased his memories.
This insidious act left a trauma in his very soul, not in the form of a memory, but of an instinct that almost drowned Thorian in terror.
At that very moment, the masked woman took a step forward, but her speed was so great that she seemed to vanish from the spot, only to appear right in front of him. She grabbed his face with monstrous strength.
BAAAAANGGGGGGGG!!!
Slamming his head right onto the ground with so much force that a small tremor ran through hundreds of meters all around, and small cracks spread through the floor.
Thorian instantly coughed up blood, his skull felt like it was moments away from shattering, and the masked woman did all of this with only one hand while her other hand continued to hold onto the spear, which she could have just used to kill Thorian.
The woman stomped her foot on his face, smearing his bloody face with the dirt of her boots. She sneered, "I must say, the feeling is quite good being able to stomp on the face of a royal prince of Blackvale."
She added, "Come on now, donāt be so pathetic, my master told me a lot about you. This canāt be all that you amount to?"
Thorian felt enraged; he was furious. With a grunt, he brushed down the fearful feeling coming from his soul. Every ounce of his Arcane mana exploded out of him like a violent wave. Pushing the masked woman back a few steps.
But if one looked closely, they would see that the masked woman had perhaps stepped back willingly, as that wave of mana could not truly push her back with her strength as a Partial Demon. She only smiled, waiting patiently.
Thorianās energy circulated through his body faster and faster, his adaptation working like a ticking clock. A force that could never be stopped, akin to the very flow of time, which would always flow endlessly for eternity without stopping.
As his adaptation attribute grew more potent after his breakthrough, he no longer needed to actively control it; his injuries healed automatically.
His willpower, which was strong enough even to sacrifice his own mother to further his own goals, came back stronger than everāforcing away all the negative feelings that were trying to take control of him.
The masked women laughed, "Yes, thatās more like it. Show me, show me what makes you so special, Thorian Blackvale."
The masked woman dashed forward with her boundless demonic might. She swung her spear like a torpedo, creating an ethereal visage of a miniature storm.
Thorian did not stand still. He also brought out a shimmering rune sword that instantly boosted his stats and growled, "Fine, I will show you, traitors of humanity."
The Prince of Blackvaleās clock of adaptation started to spin twice as fast as before. Strength flowed into his right arm. Thorian knew that he could not hope to match this mysterious woman unless he used everything at his disposal without holding back.
BOOOOMM!!!!!
Even with all this, the Prince did not try to block her sword attack directly, but deflected the spear with a careful maneuver. But even so, he had severely underestimated the strength of this wild woman.
As he was flung away like a ball, rolling on the ground, he could barely manage to stop himself.
