"HAPPY NEW YEARS GIFT" 10 Advance Chapters

After returning to Nipton with the freed slaves, Six scanned the faces of the survivors—most of them were young, inexperienced, or barely able to hold their own in the harsh Mojave.

Many were malnourished, weary from their ordeal, and without the proper skills or tools to rebuild their lives. If they were left in Nipton, it wouldn't be long before another threat—whether from raiders, Legion remnants, or the elements—would finish them off.

Six frowned. They need more than freedom; they need a future.

Parking the Battle Bus just outside the ruins of Nipton, Six tapped a few buttons on his Pip-Boy and activated a large teleportation back to Goodsprings, taking the entire group with him in a blink.

The freed slaves stood in awe, now safe in the growing and fortified city of Goodsprings. Six wasted no time meeting with Mayor Touch Conners, who had been overseeing the town's growth into a secure and prosperous settlement.

"Conners..."

Six said as they sat in the town's new administrative building.

"We need to send people to Nipton. Rebuild it. These people can't survive out there on their own, but Nipton can be another stronghold for us if we do it right."

Conners nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.

"I'll get the volunteers together, make sure we send capable folk to guide them. Could turn Nipton into a proper town again. With your resources and our manpower, we could fortify the place within a few weeks."

"Do it."

Six replied, already thinking ahead. Nipton was a strategic location on the road to New Vegas, and having another strong settlement under his influence would expand his control over the Mojave.

"And make sure to take some power armors, so it's defensible. Even though its already highly armed with droids and turrets, we don't want another Legion raid."

Leaving those logistics to Conners, Six returned to the Battle Bus with a renewed focus. His mind turned to his latest acquisition—the Chinese Stealth Armor they'd salvaged from the Viper camp. The stealth capabilities were remarkable, but it lacked the heavy protection needed for the harsher environments they faced. Six needed something more versatile, more fortified.

He headed to his father's workshop, where Viktor, an engineering genius, had already set up for another one of their father-son projects.

"I see you brought me another challenge."

Viktor said, inspecting the Chinese Stealth Armor.

"This tech's incredible, but flimsy for what you're going up against."

"That's why I need your help."

Six replied, placing the Elite Riot Gear beside it.

"I want to combine them. Stealth and power. And replace the fabric with Ballistic Weave for maximum protection."

Viktor's eyes gleamed with interest.

"A hybrid, huh? Stealth when you need it, armor when you don't. Ballistic Weave will give it the stopping power. We can integrate the Elite Riot Gear's reinforced plating with the stealth tech—keep the mobility but add that tactical strength."

They spent hours working together, Viktor handling the more intricate parts of integrating the stealth field generator into the Riot Gear's armor structure, while Six focused on the mechanical fittings and optimizing the weave's protective layering.

When they were finished, the result was stunning: a sleek, jet-black suit of armor that combined the best of both worlds—stealth technology enhanced with the heavy-duty protection of riot gear, and reinforced with Ballistic Weave.

Six stood back, admiring their creation. This was the armor of the future—agile, resilient, and practically invulnerable to the average raider's attacks. It was more than just gear; it was another step toward his vision for the Mojave. Armed with the tools, knowledge, and sheer will to conquer, nothing would stand in his way.

"Looks like we're ready for whatever the Mojave throws at us next."

Six said, a faint smile creeping across his face as he strapped the armor on.

Viktor crossed his arms, satisfied with the work.

"Just remember—no piece of armor can protect you from being stupid, son."

Six chuckled.

"I'll keep that in mind, old man."

With his new hybrid armor equipped and plans for Nipton underway, Six was laser-focused on upgrading the defenses of Goodsprings. He had the B1 Battle Droids mass-produce more sets of the new stealth-elite riot hybrid armor for his forces, making Goodsprings' defenders nearly unmatched in protection and stealth. The Mojave was becoming more than just a wasteland—it was turning into his fortress.

But it wasn't just the armor. Six had bigger plans for his crew. He had always admired the tech behindStar-Lord's helmet—a compact, versatile piece of gear loaded with life-support systems, tactical functions, and an advanced heads-up display (HUD). So he acquired one and began modifying it, integrating all its features into theElite Riot Gear helmet.

The helmet now had the same expanding, retractable function that Star-Lord's had, triggered by an earpiece behind the ear. When activated, the partial helmet would snap into place around the user's head, providing a sleek but durable face shield.

The integrated life-support systems allowed the wearer to breathe in hostile environments—whether irradiated zones or, theoretically, even alien atmospheres. It also offered ballistic protection, and the HUD synced flawlessly with their scanners, weapons, and even flight systems.

Boone was the first to test the upgraded helmet, and he couldn't hide his appreciation, even if he rarely showed emotion. The heads-up display highlighted enemy positions, gave detailed readings of terrain, and linked directly to his rifle scope for pinpoint targeting. Raul grinned as his helmet locked into place, commenting that he hadn't worn anything this fancy since his pre-ghoul days as a gunslinger.

However, there was one person who wasn't so easily convinced—Rebecca. Six had tried everything to get her into her own custom armor, but it was like trying to wrestle a cat into a bath. Every attempt ended in some form of physical or verbal retaliation. She loved her old gear, insisting that it had sentimental value, and no matter how advanced or sleek the new armor was, Rebecca refused to budge.

"I don't need all that fancy shit."

She said arms crossed defiantly, while Six rubbed a bruise from her latest rejection attempt.

"I'm fast, and I don't need a damn HUD telling me where to aim."

Six had tried reasoning with her, bribing her, even attempting to sneak the armor onto her during downtime. But each time, Rebecca resisted—often in a way that left Six nursing a sore arm or leg.

"Can't believe you got everyone else to wear this crap except me."

She smirked, poking at the armored chest plate he was holding.

"I like my gear. You try putting me in anything else, I'll make sure you regret it."

Six sighed in mock defeat, raising his hands.

"Alright, alright. Keep your gear, but you better not complain when you get shot and I don't."

Rebecca's eyes narrowed playfully.

"I don't need your fancy armor. I'll just hide behind you, Big guy."

In the end, the rest of his crew—Boone, Raul, and the others—took to the upgraded armor with enthusiasm. Goodsprings was fast becoming a military powerhouse, its soldiers equipped with some of the best gear in the Mojave. With his plans for the future well underway, Six knew they were on the verge of something monumental.

Despite Rebecca's stubborn refusal to wear the advanced armor, Six couldn't help but chuckle to himself. She was fierce and fearless, and in truth, she didn't need the cutting-edge tech to prove it. However, there was one person who could change her mind—and it wasn't Six.

One day, while Six and Rebecca were gearing up for another journey, their 6-year-old daughter,Tanya, walked into the room. As the reincarnation ofTanya von DegurechafffromYoujo Senki, their daughter had the mind of a battle-hardened commander and the no-nonsense attitude to match.

Despite her childlike appearance, her eyes burned with the intense resolve of someone used to leading armies and outsmarting her enemies.

Tanya crossed her arms, her sharp blue eyes narrowing as she stared at Rebecca.

"Mother, your refusal to wear the upgraded armor is illogical. You of all people should know that preparedness is the key to survival."

Rebecca raised an eyebrow, her defiance still flickering in her eyes.

"I don't need some fancy armor, Tanya. I've been doing just fine without it."

Tanya's lips pressed into a thin line, and she stood up a little straighter, as though addressing a subordinate.

"Fine? Mother, your tactical decisions are usually sound, but this... this is reckless. In a war zone, you optimize every advantage. Refusing superior gear isn't brave—it's negligent."

Rebecca opened her mouth to argue, but Tanya didn't give her the chance.

"You're always telling me not to be reckless. Why don't you follow your own advice? You're setting a bad example for the rest of the unit—"

"Theunit?"

Rebecca interrupted with a laugh.

"Tanya, I'm not one of your soldiers. I don't need—"

"But you're part of theteam, aren't you?"

Tanya shot back, her eyes gleaming with that familiar intensity.

"And as part of the team, it's your duty to protect yourself as much as the rest of us. Think of the mission, Mother. Think of Father, your children, the future."

At that, Rebecca paused. Six, watching the exchange with amusement, leaned against the wall, arms crossed, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. Seeing his fierce, chibi-sized daughter dressing down Rebecca was something he never thought he'd witness—but it was Tanya, after all. She had the mind of a general and the sharp tongue to match.

Rebecca looked at Tanya, then at Six, who was now barely holding back a laugh.

"You find this funny?"

She asked, though her tone was lighter than it had been before.

Six grinned.

"I mean, she's got a point. Besides, you don't want to get out-argued by a six-year-old, do you?"

Rebecca sighed in exasperation, throwing her hands up.

"Alright, alright, fine! I'll wear the damn armor. But if it slows me down even a bit, I'm tossing it in the river."

Tanya nodded approvingly, like a commander satisfied that an underling had finally come to their senses.

"Good. It's about time."

As Rebecca reluctantly began fitting on the armor, Six couldn't help but feel a deep sense of pride—for both his daughter and his wife. Rebecca might be fierce, but Tanya was a force of nature all on her own. In the end, it wasn't technology or strategy that won the day—it was the unwavering logic of a six-year-old reincarnated military genius.

With a smirk still on his face, Six thought to himself, Tanya is probably going to be running the armies I built.
