Chapter 95: The Beast of Caerbannog

"Your holiness."

A priest appeared with others with him, treating Pilars injuries.

"What?"

"Your holiness, that’s the Beast of Caerbannog!

Pilar groaned, still dazed from the encounter.

"The what now?"

The priest’s face was pale, his hands trembling as he anointed his wounds.

"The Beast of Caerbannog! A creature of legend... an unholy terror that has devoured knights and warriors alike! And you—you faced it and lived!"

Another priest, equally shaken, added.

"It is said no blade can pierce its hide, no magic can subdue its fury!"

Pilar blinked, trying to process their hysteria.

"Wait... are we talking about thatrabbit girl?"

The priests gasped collectively, crossing themselves. "Blasphemy!" one of them whispered in horror.

"It is no mere rabbit girl! It is a fiend, a monster in disguise! A creature of unimaginable terror! To face it and live... It’s a miracle!"

Pilar frowned, trying to recall anything that matched the name.

"That... sounds like something out of an old tale."

He muttered.

"You’re telling me thatrabbit girl—"

He motioned vaguely toward the battlefield

"—is some kind of legendary beast?"

The priests around his nodded fervently, whispering prayers under their breath.

"Legends speak of warriors who have tried and failed to slay it, your holiness."

Another priest chimed in.

"Only the most blessed—or the most doomed—would dare challenge the beast and survive."

Pilar exhaled sharply.

"Well, I don’t feel very blessed right now."

The priests exchanged worried glances before the first spoke again.

"Then... it may be the latter."

Pilar groaned again, rubbing his temples.

"I hate this world..."

"You tit! I soiled my armor, I was so scared!"

Said another daemon.

"Look, thatrabbit girl’sgot a vicious streak a mile wide! It’s a killer!"

"Get stuffed!"

Said another daemon

"He’ll do you up a treat, mate."

"Oh, yeah?"

"You mangy git!"

"I’m warning you!"

"What’s she do, nibble your bum?"

"She’s got huge, sharp-- eh-- she can leap about!

"Go on, Bors. Chop her head off!"

Pilar ordered one of his deamons.

"Right! Silly little bleeder. One rabbit stew comin’ right up!"

"Look!"

The priest pointed as Rebecca stroke from above.

"Luna Fall"

She lifted her leg above her head and arced it down towards Bors. The pure force of the strike drove her helpless opponent into the solid ground beneath their feet.

"Aaaugh!"

"Jesus Christ!"

Pilar was surprised by Rebecca’s attack but also felt recollection from her move.

"I warned you!"

"I done it again!"

Said the deamon that soiled himself.

"I warned you, but did you listen to me? Oh, no, you knew it all, didn’t you? Oh, it’s just a harmless little bunny girl, isn’t it? Well, it’s always the same. I always tell them--"

"Oh, shut up!"

"Do they listen to me?"

"Right! all of you kill that bitch."

"Oh, no..."

"Charge, for the blood god!

"Aaaaugh!, Aaaugh!, etc."

The battlefield was alive with chaos as the Bloodletters and Bloodthirsters swarmed like a tidal wave, their demonic howls filling the air. Six, though still getting his severed arm reattached, watched in awe and disbelief as Rebecca unleashed her full power, her new form an embodiment of raw, unstoppable force.

Her transformation was nothing short of stunning—an albino rabbit-like figure, with lean muscle rippling under the dark, purple-trimmed leotard she wore.

The immense contrast between her gentle, seemingly innocent appearance and the sheer destructive force she commanded made her an enigma to both friend and foe alike.

"Please try to last a bit for me, alright? I’ve been waiting to fight in this form for ages!"

Her voice was a smooth blend of determination and excitement, and her wide smile gleamed with bloodlust.

As the Bloodletters and Bloodthirsters surrounded her, the ground shook as she leaped into action.

"Luna Ring!"

She yelled, her body a blur of motion. Her leg shot with her incredible leg strength to perform a swift cartwheel, landing kicks on any daemon that was unfortunate enough to stand in the way of her legs. Cleaving through the daemons as though they were mere paper, the shockwave from her strike sent ripples through the very air.

Pilar, watching from a distance, had a smug grin on his face as he thought he had finally identified the threat—Rebecca’s rabbit-like form had a familiar aura, one that made even seasoned demons hesitate for a moment. When he realized what he was dealing with, his expression shifted from cocky confidence to outright fear.

"Oh, no... Little sis?"

He muttered, watching the chaos unfold.

One of the Bloodletters shouted in panic, "Run away! Run away!" But it was too late for them. The Bloodletters and Bloodthirsters attempted to charge, only to be cut down by Rebecca’s overwhelming might. Her agility and strength were unmatched, her every movement a deadly dance.

As she wiped the battlefield clean of enemies, her demeanor was not that of a warrior on a quest for survival, but one who had been waiting for this moment—the chance to let loose in the fight of her life.

Her form, now glowing with the residual energy of the battle, radiated a chilling aura of death, and it only intensified as she pushed forward, leaving nothing in her wake but dismembered bodies and shattered daemonic spirits.

"Finally!"

She shouted, her voice almost melodic amidst the carnage.

"A proper fight!"

She looked back at Six, who was recovering his arm thanks to the quick treatment of the Dr. Handy. Despite the odds, her focus never wavered from her mission.

Six managed to reattach his arm, clenching his Varis rifle tightly, his eyes glinting with determination.

"Rebecca, just... be careful!"

He called out, though he knew it was almost unnecessary. The woman before him was beyond anything he’d ever known—she was a force of nature now, a tempest in human form.

"Careful?"

She responded with a grin.

"I’m just getting started, babe."

He watched as Rebecca tore through the oncoming tide of Bloodletters and Bloodthirsters. Her transformation into the Beast of Caerbannog had shifted the battle in their favor, but the sheer number of daemons and the raw power of their bloodlust made it clear they weren’t out of danger yet.

"She’s not kidding around."

Six muttered to himself, his mind racing as he tried to catch up with the chaos around them. The Punisher, still hovering above the battlefield, fired bursts of energy at any daemons that approached too close to Six, but he couldn’t help but marvel at Rebecca’s relentless assault.

Rebecca, now fully embracing her new form, was like a whirlwind of destruction. Her every movement was a blur of grace and ferocity, each strike infused with unimaginable strength. The ground trembled under the force of her blows as she tore through the daemonic forces like they were paper.

She landed a devastating kick, tearing through several Bloodletters, their forms disintegrating in flashes of light. Her grin, wide and bloodthirsty, made it clear she was enjoying herself far too much. Six couldn’t help but chuckle to himself, despite the dire situation.

"She’s as terrifying as she is beautiful."

Six said under his breath, catching a glimpse of her battle-ready form as she leapt into the fray again. Her ears twitched with every movement, and the gleaming crescent moon on her chest almost seemed to shine with the same intensity as her will.

Meanwhile, the priest and his comrades, still recovering from the initial shock of seeing the "Beast of Caerbannog," watched in horror as the daemons, once so sure of themselves, were being decimated by Rebecca’s unstoppable onslaught.

The daemons, now realizing just how outmatched they were, began to retreat, their confidence shattered. Bors, the unfortunate daemon who had been struck by Rebecca’s devastating "Luna Fall," tried to rise but was still too dazed to move. Pilar’s command to charge had come too late; his forces were already in disarray.

Pilar’s confidence quickly turned to frustration as he saw his army crumble under Rebecca’s power.

"No... No! Stand your ground, you fools!"

He shouted, trying to rally them, but it was no use. The daemons, already terrified, scrambled to escape.

Rebecca, her form still glowing with an ethereal aura, didn’t stop. She moved effortlessly, her body a blur as she tore through the remaining daemons. With each strike, a burst of energy exploded outward, sending shockwaves through the battlefield.

"Don’t you dare run!"

Rebecca yelled, her voice filled with both amusement and menace as she chased down the fleeing daemons, her form seeming to flicker with every jump. She launched herself at one of the Bloodthirsters, her leg lifting in another devastating attack.

"Luna Arc!"

The Bloodthirster didn’t stand a chance. The sheer force of Rebecca’s kick sent it flying, its form collapsing into a heap of bloody, twisted flesh. The remaining daemons seemed to realize they were no match for her, their fear palpable as they scattered in all directions.

Pilar stood, his face a mixture of disbelief and rage, as he watched his forces disintegrate. He was losing, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

Rebecca turned to Six, her grin wide and triumphant.

"You see, this is my real form, babe. That’s why I’m not holding back."

She said, her voice dripping with excitement.

"A fight like this... It’s everything I’ve been waiting for."

Six nodded, his expression serious but filled with admiration.

"I’ve never seen anything like it."

He replied.

"But we need to finish this. We can’t let any of them escape."

Rebecca’s expression hardened, her eyes glowing with a fiery determination.

"Don’t worry, I’m just getting started."

With that, she turned back to the battlefield, her next target already in her sights. The remaining daemons, despite their monstrous size and strength, were nothing compared to the fury Rebecca had unleashed. And with Six at her side, they were unstoppable.
