Chapter 21: Chapter 19 IndifferenceWhen Ella Turner was panting heavily at the school gate, Liam Spencer’s car was slowly turning, ready to leave.

Without thinking, she dashed in front of Liam’s vehicle in a flash, successfully blocking its path, regardless of the result if she didn’t catch her breath would be fatal.

Inside the car, Elijah Reed saw the girl suddenly rush in front of the car, slammed on the brakes abruptly, stopped the vehicle in time, and cursed, blaming this student for being reckless.

Immediately, Ella frantically knocked on the driver’s window, swallowing hard, yet was unable to utter a single word because she was too exhausted.

Afraid that Elijah would ignore her obstruction and drive away, she gripped the half-opened car window glass tightly, gulping for air.

"Student, do you know this is very dangerous?"

"Sp~Sp~Sp!" She stammered and couldn’t say Maya Spencer’s name.

"Student, directly calling the principal by name is very impolite." Elijah thought she was calling for Liam.

In the back seat, Liam glanced at the girl and recognized her as the one who was protecting Maya.

Then he guessed that something happened to Maya, and it was severe; otherwise, the girl wouldn’t risk her safety to rush towards his car.

So he asked, "Did something happen to Maya?"

"Yes, yes!" Ella frantically nodded.

Upon hearing about Maya’s trouble, Elijah quickly shut off the car, unbuckled his seatbelt, ready to act upon Liam’s orders.

Unexpectedly, Liam just coldly said, "I know."

Liam’s indifferent attitude stunned both Elijah and Ella, Elijah thought Liam would help Maya, but didn’t expect him to be dismissive even in such a critical situation, looking at Ella’s anxious appearance made him worried.

Facing Liam’s cold demeanor, Ella swallowed hard, mustered her courage, and said, "Principal, please save Maya, for the sake of your sibling relationship. If you’re late, it’ll be too late."

"Why should I save her?"

"You’re her brother! How can a brother not care for his sister?"

Hearing Liam’s reasoning, Ella exploded, wondering how could someone be such an uncaring brother, totally not even comparable to a single finger of Ethan Turner.

"Boss, should I go and check?" Elijah volunteered, applying to help Liam.

"Go home."

Listening to Liam’s command, Elijah took a deep breath helplessly, turned to the side, raised his right hand, pried Ella’s small hands off the glass, started the vehicle, reluctantly driving slowly towards the school exit.

Seeing this, Ella hurriedly chased after, pounding on the window, cursing.

"Liam, what kind of worthless brother are you, sitting back and doing nothing? You share the same blood, how can you be so cold-blooded."

Listening to Ella’s curses, Liam was extremely irritated, he couldn’t understand why after returning to the Spencer Family, he was entangled by this sister. It was a hard-found quiet two days without her news, how did this happen again?

Even though he wanted to ignore her, he recalled that stubborn little face subjected to bullying.

Then, he took a deep breath and said to Elijah, "Turn around, go check."

Upon hearing Liam’s directive, Elijah quickly reversed the car, making a fast turn, preparing to head to the woods.

"Bring her along."

"Student, get in." With Liam’s permission, Elijah opened the car window, inviting Ella inside.

Upon hearing Elijah inviting her in, Ella quickly opened the passenger seat door and jumped in.

Moments later, the three arrived at the woods, parked the vehicle by the roadside, and started walking into the depths of the woods.

"Hurry up, please! I beg you." Ella was anxious, urging the two men behind while running.

Listening to her urging, Elijah started running, Liam watched the two in front, involuntarily quickening his pace.

Enraged, he suddenly felt a strong urge to eliminate that man.

Looking at the unbearable scene ahead, Elijah shouted furiously, "Are you all out of your minds? Daring to touch the Fifth Young Miss of the Spencer Family."

Elijah’s voice had just fallen when several lights flashed towards them, glaringly bright.

Those thugs were scared stiff upon seeing Liam, quickly stopped their punching and kicking, but the leader continued to tease Maya.

Without a word, Elijah walked over and kicked him away with his right foot.

"Are you tired of living?" The man who was kicked away cursed without seeing who came.

"Leader, Third Young Master is here." A nearby younger brother quickly reminded.

This time, he sat on the ground, looking up at Liam, seeing Liam’s cold, handsome face, a chill ran down his spine, thinking, he was deceived by Elia Spencer, she said all the Spencers dislike Maya, everyone wished her dead, if they finished Maya, it would be helping the Spencer Family eliminate a threat. But what was Liam’s situation in front of him, was he just observing? Though it didn’t seem like it!

Nervously taking a deep breath, he accompanied a smiling face, trying to please Liam, saying, "Third Young Master, Elia said you all don’t like this girl, let me solve your problem."

Liam hadn’t even said anything, and the man sold out Elia Spencer.

Watching the man’s shameless smile, Elijah hurriedly untied Maya and took off his shirt, wrapping it around her.

Maya looked up at Elijah, tugged the shirt tighter, wrapped herself further, but her gaze instantly dodged as she didn’t dare look at Elijah.

"Boss, how do we handle these people?"

Listening to Elijah’s question nonchalantly, Liam looked at Maya. Maya then looked at Elijah, swallowed hard, and said maliciously, "Burn down this patch of woods, including these people."

Elijah held his breath after hearing Maya’s approach, didn’t dare speak, though these people deserved it.

"Before setting fire, dig out their eyes, rip out their tongues, and chop off their hands and feet, see if they dare to bully people again." Thinking Maya’s words were merely threats, Ella followed up, not knowing Elijah might actually do it.

But shortly after, the police arrived, having been called by Ethan Turner.

Thus those bastards were taken into the police station, sentenced according to the law, Maya finished recording her testimony and was taken back to the Spencer Family by Liam.

As they had just entered the door, Hannah rushed over to Maya, clawing at her face while cursing, "Maya, you troublemaker, you caused trouble outside, why did you harm Elia? Quickly explain to the police, otherwise, I won’t let you off."
