Chapter 29: Chapter 27 He Hates MeLiam Spencer said this while playfully teasing her, holding her hands in his left hand without any restraint.

Maya Spencer was very annoyed, and suddenly remembered something, this feeling seemed familiar.

"You’re really wild!" Liam said to Maya, feeling both disdain and anger.

However, at this moment, Maya’s brain felt like it was electrified. The scene from that night in the hotel flooded her mind completely. She vaguely remembered Elijah Reed carrying her into the suite and placing her on the bed.

"Boss, I’m leaving first, so as not to disturb you." Elijah hurriedly left, fearing Liam would change his mind.

As he closed the door behind him, he dashed to catch up with Maya. When he reached the staircase, he grabbed her clothing and said, "Miss Maya, how could you hit the boss?"

Maya impatiently shook him off, ignoring him, wondering why she couldn’t hit Liam, why she always ended up the one being bullied.

"I don’t have money for a check-up."

"I do!"

So Elijah took Maya to the hospital, where Maya told the doctor she might have interacted with a virus carrier. After a preliminary check, the doctor asked if she had remembered incorrectly and told her she hadn’t had any contact with a man, advising her to return in three days for the blood report.

Then Elijah accompanied Maya to the hotel, and from the surveillance footage, they saw that after Elijah left the suite, no one else had entered.

Maya watched the video, growing increasingly anxious. Could it be, her memories were true?

Thinking that such a result was worse than not knowing, it might have been better to mistakenly believe she had taken advantage of Elijah.

On the way back, Elijah smugly said, "Miss Maya, didn’t I say? My boss isn’t that kind of person at all."

"Elijah, that night in the woods, my necklace was taken by them. Can you help me get it back?"

"Sure, I’ll definitely do it!"

Maya hadn’t expected the third son’s assistant to be so obedient to her, caring about her matters so diligently.

So, she considered Elijah and the Turner siblings as good people; the rest were heartless.

After getting home, Maya hid in her bedroom, thinking about the scenes from earlier in the day, feeling that she had been too impulsive, causing misunderstandings.

Especially considering she would still need Liam to tutor her, making her even more frustrated.

To avoid Liam, she skipped lunch and dinner, hoping to get through the night. Ultimately, her room door was still knocked on.

"Miss Maya, you need to let the third master tutor you, as the old master has instructed."
