Chapter 79 - Stupid to the Point of Willingness
Chapter 79 of "No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother" opens presenting: Chapter 79: Chapter 77: Stupid to the Point of Willingness In the dining room, the... Donât stop now!
Chapter 79: Chapter 77: Stupid to the Point of Willingness In the dining room, the atmosphere suddenly became very awkward, and everyone turned their eyes toward Liam Spencer, waiting for him to explode.
"Liam, what are you doing? Is the food not to your taste?" Old Master Spencer looked at his son being so disrespectful in front of his grandfather, feeling somewhat ashamed, he reluctantly scolded him.
In the face of Old Masterâs reprimand, Liam didnât pay attention at all, kicked back his chair, stood up, and turned to glare at Maya Spencer.
Then, he bent down, reached out his right hand, gripped Mayaâs chin, lifted her head, stared into her eyes, and angrily said, "Maya, I give you face, you donât want it. Letâs see how you regret this later."
Maya heard the manâs threat but didnât quite understand his intention. She foolishly and awkwardly smiled at him, promising, "Third Brother, Iâll help you next summer holiday."
Next summer, she might not even be in the Spencer Family; who would still help him then? First deceive and muddle through for now.
The man looked at her utterly fake smile, harshly let go of her chin, and turned to leave.
If it had been just the two of them at that moment, he certainly would have given her a good lesson. However, with so many people watching, he couldnât show too much anger, so he suppressed his rage and left.
He actually wanted to see what kind of waves she could make in the Spencer Familyâdid she think her little schemes went unnoticed? She was the only one self-directing and self-absorbing, deceiving herself. To everyone else, she was just a pawn, yet she was foolishly delighted.
In that case, he would just sit back and watch how she would meet her end.
Opposite, Elia Spencer watched as Maya intended to go to Spencer Clan Group, biting her lips, gently setting down her chopsticks, grieved as she said, "Grandfather, I canât eat anymore."
"If you canât eat, then just sit there. One by one, everyoneâs getting out of control." Old Master Spencer couldnât manage his son, but hopefully, he could still control his daughter!
Aunt Hannah looked at the angry Old Master Spencer and nudged Elia with her foot to tell her not to lose her temper.
But Elia was pissed! The Little Demon said she wanted to go to Spencer Clan Group, clearly with impure intentions, starting to compete for the inheritance. What made her the unhappiest was that even the Second Brother, who just came back, was helping her.
She thought, what kind of potion did Little Demon give these people to have everyone backing her and doting on her? Was it simply because she scored full marks on an exam?
Next time, she had to outperform her, Elia resolved silently in her heart.
Old Master Spencer looked at the awkward atmosphere, sighed deeply, and lamented, "Ah! I am old, and no one respects me now. Jane Spencer, take me back to my other residence; only you are still trustworthy."
"Grandfather, please eat a bit more!"
"Forget it! Forget it! Even young punks dare to throw chopsticks at me; how do I have the appetite to eat?"
With that, Old Master Spencer stood up from his chair. Jane saw this and quickly went to support him.
Maya watched the departing Old Master Spencer and buried her head in eating plain rice. She felt guilty; if she hadnât opposed Liamâs proposal, how could a nice family gathering end on such a sour note!
"Itâs all your fault, you troublemaker, making everyone unhappy." Elia looked at Maya opposite her and scolded unceremoniously, as it wasnât the first time she had cursed her in front of Dad. Moreover, this time it was really her fault; she offended Third Brother, causing everyone to be unhappy.
However, in the next moment, she was happy! The smile at the corner of her mouth couldnât be hidden. Little Demon had offended Third Brother, so there was no need for her to take action; they would completely fall out by themselves.
However, Big Sister and Third Brother were born of the same mother, so sheâd definitely take Third Brotherâs side.
Second Brother was just the sole son of Second Uncle, who held no real power in the company, so even if he helped Little Demon, it could only make her shine superficially. In reality, how much inheritance he could get himself was still a question!
Next, all she had to do was make Little Demon and Big Sister officially fall apart, and Little Demonâs glorious era would basically end.
Thinking of this, she picked up her chopsticks and began to eat again. For such a grand matter, she surely needed to eat well and celebrate well.
Soon after, Old Master Spencer left, and Second Uncle also left, leaving Aunt Hannah and her daughter, along with Maya, and the Spencer familyâs second young master at the table.
"Maya, why are you going against your Third Brother? Is Third Brother someone you can casually offend? Even your grandfather doesnât dare to fall out with him, yet youâre making such a bold stance," Aunt Hannah said, pretending to educate Maya in hindsight.
"Aunt Hannah, Iâm full. Iâm heading back to my room." Maya couldnât be bothered to listen to her rambling, pushing aside her bowl and chopsticks, and left.
Kinsley also left upon seeing this.
At the table, the mother and daughter shrugged helplessly at the unhappy ending of the scene, shared a knowing smile, thinking to themselves about how craftily the Little Demon actedâtoo brilliantly indeed.
Thus, throughout the subsequent holiday, Maya almost turned into Second Brotherâs little follower. She went out with him in the morning, came back with him in the evening, and was hardly at home.
Though Kinsley was merely at a branch office, he was quite busy every day too. Still, no matter how busy he was, he would spare an hour every day to practice driving with Maya. Occasionally when their dad wasnât at home, he would catch Maya sneaking a peek at the diary in their dadâs study and keep a lookout for her.
Staying by Kinsleyâs side, Maya felt much more at peace. The difference between the Second and Third Brothers was immense.
Strictly speaking, Second Brother was a true older brother, while Third Brotherâdamn, he couldnât even be considered a normal person.
Staying with Kinsley, he would at most ruffle her hair, tug at her wrist, and usually maintain a very safe distance from her, showing her a lot of respect.
This manner made Maya feel extremely comfortable, without any pressure or tension.
On this day, Maya went with Second Brother to a meeting at Owen Clan Group. Supposedly, Owen Clan was bidding for a project, and he wanted to try securing it.
In the underground parking lot, Maya sat in the passenger seat, showing no intention of getting out of the car.
Kinsley furrowed his brows, turned his head to look at her, and asked, "Maya, why arenât you getting out of the car?"
"Iâm afraid of running into Third Brother. Iâve offended him before, itâs better to avoid him."
"The meeting might take a while; itâs stuffy in the car."
"Itâs okay, Iâll turn on the air conditioning and ventilation, take a nap, and youâll be back."
"Hmm, thatâs good too. Make sure to crack the window a bit, donât suffocate yourself." The man said as he unbuckled the seatbelt and opened the car door.
"Donât worry! Go for it, Second Brother!" The girl said encouragingly as she made a fist gesture with her right hand.
"Maya is the best. Iâll treat you to something nice for lunch," the man said as he walked to the passenger side window, reached out from outside, and patted her head to remind her.
"Mm, Iâll be waiting."
While the two interacted, they didnât notice the man in the car parked across from them, staring intently at them.
Inside the car, the man watched their harmonious interaction, his face icy enough to freeze the air. Her sweet smile, her obedient demeanor, at one point was also this naive before him.
It seems sheâs reverting to old tricks again, trying to seduce Kinsley.
Thinking this, he took out his phone, dialing a number he could recite backwards.
As the call connected, he sneered and asked, "Since youâre already at my company, why not come up and have a seat?"
