Chapter 34: Chapter 32: The Cunning Little FoxBefore today, everyone had only heard rumors about Maya’s flirtatiousness, but no one had concrete evidence of her indecent lifestyle.

However, after those photos were exposed, the school was in an uproar. All sorts of fabricated scandals about her were flying around, and it was even rumored that she went to the hospital with Elijah for an abortion.

Maya looked at those photos, her expression still calm, but she felt a bit uncomfortable inside.

No matter how composed she was, facing rumors about herself having an abortion, how could she be completely unmoved!

"This is outrageous! Who says going to the hospital means having an abortion? Can’t someone be sick?" Ella exclaimed angrily.

Listening to Ella’s anger, Maya took a deep breath, bit her lip tightly, and remained silent. She knew this wasn’t Elia’s doing; it was Hannah.

Thinking about the photos that were secretly taken of her, besides being furious, she felt panic, the fear of being watched constantly, while she was totally unaware.

When she turned around to look for Elia, she realized that since her photos were exposed, she had disappeared.

"Heh!" She let out two cold laughs, thinking to herself, how eager Elia was to skip classes and rush to complain to Henry.

In the office of the sales department director at Reid Clan Group, Elia sat opposite Henry at his desk, holding her phone anxiously, saying, "Henry, look, I told you Maya wasn’t a good person, see for yourself!"

As for the photos on Elia’s phone, Henry had already seen them, so faced with her complaints, he remained expressionless while still feeling uncomfortable inside.

He said, "Elia, don’t you have anything better to do? Skipping classes just to gossip."

"I’m afraid you’ll keep being fooled by that little vixen. She’s stringing you along while staying in hotels with Elijah, and you know what? She even didn’t spare Liam. Last night, Liam carried her downstairs, and today took her to school. Even someone as arrogant as Liam has been bewitched by her. Henry, don’t be fooled by her anymore."

"If you continue spreading rumors, I will have a security guard ask you to leave."

"Enough, I’m too lazy to argue with you. Someday, you’ll see her true colors." Worried that Henry had too deep a prejudice against her, Elia picked up her bag and left.

After Elia left, Henry also exited the office. They were heading in the same direction, but he didn’t give her a ride.

When Henry arrived at the school, it was the end of classes. He quickly parked his car and went to block Maya at the school gate.

Sure enough, he managed to block Maya at the entrance. Seeing her alone, Henry quickly caught up, grabbed her wrist, and said.

"Maya, come with me."

Maya quickly shook off his hand upon hearing Henry’s voice. She was aware of why he was looking for her and what he wanted to ask. She felt there was no need to explain.

"Maya, stop messing around, come with me." Henry was not in a good mood today.

Maya took a deep breath, glanced around, and noticed all the classmates watching the drama. She didn’t want to argue at the school entrance and certainly didn’t want to leave with Henry, doubting it wouldn’t lead to another forced kiss incident.

"Henry, you’re not someone to me. I have no reason to go with you." Maya never gave Henry any hope, yet he persisted in bothering her, which she found very annoying.

"Maya, what is your relationship with Elijah? And Ethan?" Clearly, he did not believe her, but rather put faith in those dubious rumors.

"None of your business." Maya wanted to quickly rid herself of this awkward situation. She hated Henry’s entanglement, making her very troubled and indeed giving the impression she had a questionable lifestyle.

After the photos came out, people were already pointing fingers at Maya. Henry’s commotion exacerbated everyone’s belief in the rumors.

As they were pulling and tugging, the crowd of onlookers grew, making Maya increasingly embarrassed. Although she didn’t show it on her face, she wasn’t happy inside, yet Henry didn’t notice at all and kept foolishly questioning her.

Looking at Henry’s behavior, Maya thought she must be crazy to like someone like him.

Finally, she couldn’t bear it anymore. She took a deep breath, with a harsh look, and shouted at Henry, "Henry, stop taking yourself so seriously! What relationship do I have with you, and what right do you have to question me here."

In the past, Maya didn’t bother with Henry, and he understood. But she had never been this harsh with him before, nor spoken such heavy words. Suddenly, Henry was dumbfounded, and his hand holding her wrist suddenly slipped off.

She was right; who was he to her to question whom she was with?

"Get in the car!" Maya had just gotten rid of Henry when Liam’s car happened to pass through the crowd. Seeing the principal’s car passing by, everyone naturally made way, allowing him to watch.

Seeing a lifeline arrive, Maya hurried over, opened the car door, and escaped.

Inside the car, Liam glanced at someone looking gloomy, casually asked, "Did the ship capsize?"

"Am I that scandalous?" Faced with Liam’s question, Maya was extremely depressed.

She didn’t understand what she had actually done. Why was her reputation so bad? A few photos couldn’t represent anything, and what’s more, the picture of Ethan kissing her clearly showed she wasn’t willing.

"Hmm!" Liam watched someone’s aggrieved look, responded indifferently.

He usually spoke little, even making an effort to talk to Maya was rare.

Listening to Liam’s response, Maya was choked, her face flushed. Unable to find words to refute him.

A moment later, she helplessly asked, "What did I ever do to any of you?"

"What you did to others, I don’t know. At least what you did to me."

"Swish!" As soon as the man finished speaking, Maya’s face went bright red, but indeed, she only ever affected him.

However, facing Liam’s doubts, she felt unhappy. She thought to herself, she really was being sentimental, considering him and the Turner siblings as the same type of people. He didn’t trust her at all and might even think she was more depraved.

So, she turned her head and looked out the car window, no longer engaging with him, even regretting getting into his car.

She assumed getting into his car meant freedom, only to find his few words made her feel worse.

Thinking about the sarcasm and rebuke she’d face upon returning home, she took a deep breath and coldly said, "Stop the car!"

Hearing Maya shout to stop, Liam furrowed his brow, turned to glance at her. The obedient girl from last night had disappeared without a trace. She had become indifferent again.
