Chapter 240 - For Her, He Is Willing to Change Everything (Part 1)
Chapter 240 of "Noble Pampering: Demon CEO's Relentless Entanglement" starts revealing the story: Nanny Garcia hesitantly took a bottle of red wine from the cellar and placed it... Donāt miss it!
Nanny Garcia hesitantly took a bottle of red wine from the cellar and placed it in front of Asher Land.
Sophie Smith continued eating her food from the plate, without even lifting her eyelids.
Asher Land took the wine bottle, thought for a moment, but eventually put it down.
"Young Master, did I take the wrong one?" Nanny Garcia saw Asherās solemn expression and asked anxiously.
"No," Asher calmly twisted the cork back on, "I just wonāt drink it."
Not drink?
Nanny Garcia glanced at Sophie in surprise. Undoubtedly, the young masterās change was entirely because of Sophieāshe had never expected the young master would be willing to change his years-long hobby and habit for a woman. While he might not change completely, at least he was trying.
He didnāt know why he suddenly did this. It was as if he was bewitched, taking her words to heart. For her, he was willing to change anything.
After finishing her meal, Sophie looked at the weather outside and felt instantly uplifted. The weather had been quite gloomy and cold for a while, but today miraculously brought a warm sun. So she decided to take a walk in the garden.
Sophie directly ignored Asher. Well, it wasnāt exactly ignoring. She thought, Must she report to him about going for a walk?
Asher had just wanted to follow her steps when Irene Morton, who had been silently watching, called out to him.
"Brother Asher, thereās something I want to tell you."
"What is it?" Asher asked absentmindedly, as he looked in the direction of Sophieās departure.
"Iāve decided to return to Europe. Iāll leave in a couple of days."
Asherās eyes froze. Clearly, he hadnāt expected Irene to suddenly say this.
"Why not stay in Eastern City a bit longer?"
Stay? One needs company to stay, right? In his eyes, there was only Sophie; where would there be room for her?
"No, I donāt want to interrupt you and Sister Sophie," Ireneās voice was calm, unlike her previously lively tone, making Asher naturally feel guilty. Perhaps he really had neglected Irene during this period.
"How about I take you out for some fun tomorrow?"
"No need." From her tone, they seemed to be bickering again. "Donāt force yourself, you just focus on being with Sister Sophie."
After speaking, Irene went āclomp clompā up the stairs.
Asher sighed helplessly. Nanny Garcia was smart enough to detect some clues.
"Young Master, Miss Ireneās feelings for you seem not quite like those of a sister towards her brother..."
"Not like a sister towards her brother? What else could it be?" Asher was indifferent. "To me, sheās just my sister."
Nanny Garcia couldnāt tell if her young master was genuinely oblivious or was pretending to be. Heās always been a clever person; how could he not see such a simple thing?
Asher didnāt say anything more and strode toward Sophie.
Sophie sat on a bench in the garden, directly facing the warm sunlight, enjoying it with her eyes closed.
She could clearly feel the sunlight slipping across her face, carrying a hint of warmthāsuch a comfortable feeling.
However, shortly after, she suddenly felt a large shadow covering her, huh, she didnāt need to open her eyes to know who it was.
His presence was always so strong, it seemed to be etched into her bones; she couldnāt forget it even if she tried.
