The soreness of her entire body led her to pull open the collar to check her injuries, but this time, she wasn’t hurt.

However, remembering him tying her hands and stopping her mouth, she still felt afraid.

After hesitating in the bedroom for a moment, she opened the door and walked to his office, preparing to face him.

Upon opening the door, she saw Liam buried in work. Looking at his indifferent manner, a fire burned within her heart, but she was no match for him. She dared not confront him again, just as he said, she would suffer losses.

Seeing her wearing his oversized pajamas, standing foolishly at the door, he waved at her and said, "Awake, huh?"

The man’s tone was very calm, his attitude very good, as if they were close lovers.

Maya looked at the man waving her over and cautiously asked, "Where are my clothes?"

"Come here!" He commanded calmly.

Maya feared that if she didn’t heed him, she’d upset him again. So she walked to him, stood still, and watched him.

Looking at her foolish appearance, the man took her small hand, had her straddle his lap, gently tucked her loose hair behind her back, and massaged her small face saying, "Come help me at Owen Clan."

Listening to the man’s request, Maya held her breath. She knew he wanted her at Owen Clan merely for convenience in having her.

She was young, beautiful, her figure was good and few were as tender and fair as she was. She knew he was addicted to her body.

At this moment, Maya dared not oppose him, yet neither did she wish to comply. She cautiously explained, "You know I need to stay with the Spencer Family."

"Maya, I’m giving you an opportunity." His tenderness was still very domineering.

"Let me try on my own! If I can’t find anything, I’ll turn to you." She was evading him.

When he called her Maya, she knew he was about to get angry, so she tightly grasped his arm with her small hands, cutely calling out, "Third Brother!"

This call of ’Third Brother’ made Liam feel at ease.

Liam glanced at the girl under the table mischievously.

Hiding beneath him, Maya felt utterly ashamed and awkward, but had no choice but to kneel under the desk, her small face buried beneath him, saying nothing.

Seeing her sneaky behavior, Liam mischievously freed a right hand and pressed her small face down, making Maya’s face turn bright red, but fortunately, someone couldn’t see it.

After dismissing Elijah, he slid the chair back a few steps, stretched out his hands, pulled Maya from under the table, and gave her a meaningful smile.

Looking at the man’s gaze, Maya truly wished she could curse him and wreck his office, but could only helplessly roll her eyes and complain, "Why are you so mean?"
