Chapter 111: Chapter 109: You Have Great Luck Maya Spencer looked at the girl in front of her, thinking about the pitiful act she performed last night. It ignited her anger. She had believed the girlâs tears would be true, but unexpectedly, she and Sienna Carter teamed up to put her in danger.
Opposite her, Elia Spencer gazed at Maya Spencer, equally filled with rage. She thought about the grand performance of last night that didnât kill Maya, only made a fool of herself and led to a fight with Sienna Carter. The more she thought about it, the more uncomfortable she felt, even wishing to toss her into the ocean.
She suspected last night that Maya had been to Henry Reidâs room. But considering who Henry was, she wouldnât dare knock directly at his door, just watched Little Demon escape right before her eyes.
The two faced each other, each harboring their own thoughts, neither willing to take a step back. Maya stared straight at Elia, filled with words to provoke her, eager to speak them aloud.
She moved slowly towards her, squinting her eyes as she sized her up. Both stopped simultaneously when they reached each other, yet Elia was the one who seized the chance to speak first.
She said, "Maya Spencer, you got lucky this time. I doubt youâll dodge it next time."
The girlâs words only acknowledged, admitted last nightâs act was just a charade, confessed she had drugged her.
Maya listened to the girlâs confession, furious to the core, itching to smash a wine bottle on her head from the dining table.
But she restrained herself, because the angrier she got, the more Elia gloated. It was this indifferent attitude of hers that was unbearable.
So, she took a deep breath, turned her head, leaned toward Eliaâs ear, and said with a cold smile, "Elia, your acting has improved a lot. Not bad, not bad!"
Before Elia could respond to Mayaâs taunts, Maya seized the moment, asking, "Elia, arenât you curious about whose room I went to last night instead of Lillian Morrisâs?"
As soon as Maya spoke, the image of Henry Reid flashed through Eliaâs mind.
She angrily retorted, "Maya, canât you be any more shameless? You wonât even spare your own brother? Arenât you afraid of retribution?"
"Ha!" Maya found Eliaâs insult amusing and laughed wickedly.
Elia felt an ominous sense listening to Mayaâs laughter. She quickly turned around, stared into Mayaâs eyes, and asked, "Wretch! Where did you go last night?"
"Oh my! Iâve barely said anything, and youâre already anxious! How can you handle this much?" Since she called her a wretch, sheâd gladly show her.
Maya observed the girlâs pale face, feeling refreshed, knowing sheâd feel even better soon. She turned around, faced Elia, and leaned forward to whisper by her ear.
"Last night! Last night!" She created suspense.
"Maya, where did you go last night?" Elia was almost on the verge of collapsing, grabbing Mayaâs collar and furiously questioned her.
The angrier Elia became, the more pleased Maya felt. Watching her bloodshot eyes, she released her grip and sneered, "I didnât go anywhere, only to the room of Sienna Carterâs fiancĂŠ, the man youâre secretly in love with."
Upon hearing she went to Henry Reidâs room, Eliaâs lungs were about to explode with rage. Though she had already suspected Maya went to his room, hearing her confession was still unbearable.
So, as soon as Maya finished speaking, she raised her right hand, preparing to slap her.
However, Maya had anticipated her reaction, and the moment Elia raised her hand, Maya grabbed her wrist, spun around, and delivered a slap to Eliaâs face. Swiftly capturing her collar, she mocked, "Do you think you can beat me just by getting physical?"
Though not a professional fighter, Maya could easily handle Elia.
"Wretch, Maya, you wretch, youâll die a horrible death. Just wait, wait until I have someone finish you off, you wretch." Elia, being grabbed by her collar, yelled frantically at Maya. Fortunately, there werenât many people in the restaurant at the moment; even the few present just carefully watched without daring to take pictures.
Maya looked at her frenzied state, watched her small hands clawing at her, grabbed her collar, and abruptly pushed her against the wall behind her. Then, using her left hand with full force, she pinned Eliaâs arms above her head against the wall and gripped her chin with her right hand, staring into her eyes.
This move, Maya learned from her third brother, never thought sheâd use a manâs tactics on Elia, giving her a wall slam.
Although Eliaâs upper body was restrained, her legs were still free, relentlessly kicking at Maya.
The girl responded by raising her right leg and forcefully kneeing her stomach.
Instantly, Elia became quiet, her face filled with pain, daring not to resist.
Seeing the girl behave, Mayaâs grip on her chin slowly slid to her neck, fiercely clutching her throat, her lips curled into a wicked smile.
Leaning forward, she approached Eliaâs ear once more and alluringly said, "Thatâs right, it was Henry Reidâs room last night."
"You know, the moment Henry saw me, his eyes lit up,
Elia listened to the girlâs words, her eyes burning with rage,
"Elia, honestly, if it werenât for your arrangement last night, I wouldnât have known how impressive Henry is.
Since Elia called her a wretch, sheâd gladly prove it. Since she drugged her, sheâd make her fall into despair, letting her experience the pain akin to a heart being cut by a knife.
Elia listened to Mayaâs explanation, her face pale, body trembling, not knowing how to refute her.
She never imagined that in the end, sheâd deliver Henry Reid to Little Demonâs bed. She hated it, wanting to peel off her skin, wanting to display her corpse naked at the city gates, letting everyone curse her. But all she could do was watch her ridicule helplessly.
