Chapter 94: Chapter 92Before she went to sleep, she promised him to accompany him to the dinner party. But now it’s already one o’clock, and they have long missed the start time. He must be unhappy.

Today’s conflict had been extinguished by her with difficulty, so she didn’t want sleep to ruin things again. Thus, she put on her shoes, opened the rest room door, and walked towards his office.

Maya Spencer took a deep breath before opening the office door, hoping he wasn’t there and had gone to the dinner party himself.

Against her wishes, he was still sitting at the desk working earnestly.

Seeing the man’s focused expression, Maya’s breathing almost stopped. She swallowed, cautiously approached him like a child who did something wrong, lowered her head, twisted her little hands, and said, "Brother Liam, I’m sorry, I slept too deeply and didn’t wake up."

The man at the desk saw Maya was awake, quickly lifted his head, and gazed at her calmly. He looked at the girl’s guilty appearance, shook his head helplessly, waved her over to his side.

Seeing that he didn’t show any signs of anger, Maya’s tense heart finally relaxed a bit. She stepped inside the desk area and awkwardly asked, "Brother Liam, didn’t you go to the dinner party?"

The man noticed her timidness and reached out an arm to pull her into his arms, pinched her chin, stared into her eyes, and asked, "Maya, since when have you become so polite?"

He noticed her fear of him and naively believed she still wanted to be close to him. After all, she had once acted coyly around him, showed goodwill, and wanted to join his side.

"No, I’ve always been like this." Maya hurried to cover up, afraid he’d see through her thoughts.

"Are you hungry? Let’s go eat." The girl’s compliance improved his mood, he liked her obedient demeanor, how she acted coy around him made him feel at ease.

"Yeah, yeah!" At this moment, Maya wouldn’t refuse any of Liam Spencer’s requests. She knew what’s meant by focusing on the bigger picture; enduring humiliation was just temporary. Besides, just coaxing him to keep him from getting angry was a small trick she was capable of.

Immediately afterward, the two left the office and headed straight to the restaurant.

On the way, Maya sat in the front passenger seat with her right hand propped against the lower edge of the window and her chin resting on her palm, looking at the scenery outside the car.

In the driver’s seat, Liam Spencer held the steering wheel with his left hand, eyes ahead, occasionally glancing at the girl out of the corner of his eye. Seeing her so lost in thought staring out the window, he reached out his right hand, placed it on her shoulder, pinched her right earlobe, and asked unhurriedly.

"Maya, what are you thinking about?"

"Nothing! Just spacing out." Maya answered his inquiry cautiously, even deliberately turning her head to look into his eyes as she replied.

Looking at her rosy little face and black, shiny eyes, Liam felt rejuvenated. His right hand on her shoulder pulled her slightly toward him, as his fingers that had been on her earlobe gradually slid down to caress her chin.

Maya noticed the tenderness of the man’s fingertips, her heart fluttered uneasily, feeling awkward,

The man’s fingers tickled her face and she couldn’t help but shiver. As she turned her head to look at him, he was also looking at her. She smiled awkwardly and he smiled knowingly. His fingers caressing her chin moved upwards smoothly, making this scene extremely ambiguous.

The more ambiguous Liam’s actions were, the more awkward Maya felt. His teasing was so bold it made her involuntarily tense.

Suddenly, Maya’s face turned red and her ears burned, not wanting him to tease her further.

So, she boldly pushed him away, rubbing her lips, and explained, "Brother Liam, this is really dangerous."

Listening to the girl’s reminder, he once again held her neck, pulling her towards him, and murmured into her earlobe, "Maya, you’re so delicious, Brother Liam doesn’t want food, he wants to eat you."

"Brother Liam, don’t be like this! Seriously, it’s dangerous."

Seeing her embarrassed little face, the man let her go, lifted his right hand, and rubbed her head heavily, unconsciously laughing heartily.

Listening to the man’s laughter, Maya secretly took a deep breath, thinking, this man is such a pervert, being shameless even to his sister to this extent. However, what surprised her was, he actually treated the woman he fancied quite well.

When the car reached the hotel’s underground parking lot, Maya reached out to open the car door to get out, only to have her wrist grabbed by him. Seeing his feverish eyes, she bit her lower lip, at a loss, thinking, was he planning to have her before dinner?

Maya placed her hands on the man’s shoulders, pouting as she asked him, "Does Brother Liam want to eat me?"

"Yes!" The man admitted frankly.

Hearing his confession, Maya took a deep breath, resolving in her heart, oh well! Oh well! Let him have his way, rather than refusing him again, making him upset, which would only bring trouble upon herself. It’s better to comply!

So, she lowered her head, raised her small hand, and started to gently unbutton her blouse.

She wasn’t lying; it did feel comfortable. But it was only physically comfortable. In her heart, she rejected him; she hated him, feared him, yet had to pretend to submit and please him.

Listening to her response, the man clenched her small hand even tighter, as if wanting to merge her into his body.

Feeling the pain from his grip, Maya finally looked up at him, saying, "Brother Liam, you’re hurting me."
