Chapter 107: Chapter 105 Jealousy and Rivalry A moment later, at the door of Lillian Morris’ room, Jane Spencer pounded on the door, shouting, "Lillian, are you in there? Open the door."

"Lillian!"

"Miss, let’s break down the door!" After shouting a few times without any response from inside, Sienna Carter guessed that the two of them were probably absorbed in the heat of the moment, too scared to open the door. Hence, she suggested Jane to break down the door.

Soon after, Lillian appeared in a bathrobe, walking out from the bathroom, looking at the crowd in his room with astonishment, gazing at Jane, and asked, "Jane, what’s going on?"

Jane listened to Lillian’s query, awkwardly smiling as she explained, "Miss Carter said she saw you carrying Maya into the room, so I’m checking things out."

"Maya? No way! I haven’t seen Maya at all. I was just splashed with wine earlier and got my clothes dirty, so I came to take a shower and change." Lillian replied nonchalantly.

Jane listened to Lillian’s explanation, turned around to the crowd behind her, and as soon as she saw Elia and the reporters, everything became clear—it was that little brat playing tricks on them. Jane was furious, angry that Elia would have such malicious intent targeted at her.

She swallowed her saliva, looked at Lillian and explained, "It might have been a misunderstanding."

Sienna stood aside, unwilling to accept it. She clearly saw Lillian carrying Maya into the room, he must have hidden Maya after hearing the door being knocked.

She pulled Jane’s clothes and said, "Miss, I wasn’t lying to you. I really saw Young Master Morris carrying Maya in."

"Have you had enough of this?" Jane lashed out, impatiently snapping at the girl.

Seeing the situation, Elia signaled to the group of reporters, whose eyes immediately lit up, rushing over to surround Lillian and interview him: "Young Master Morris, Miss Carter said she saw you carrying Miss Maya in. Is this true? What’s your relationship?"

"I don’t understand what you are talking about. If you suspect that I’m hiding someone, feel free to search the room."

However, the reporters really started searching the room without restraint.

Bathroom, wardrobe, even the bed was turned over, yet no trace of Maya was found, nor anything related to her.

Elia was determined to bring Maya down, so she clenched her teeth, standing guard there, refusing to leave, not believing that Maya could escape as if she had wings.

But even after checking Lillian’s room three times, no sign of anyone was found.

Finally, Lillian glanced at Elia and Sienna and said, "Done searching? If so, I’ll change rooms."

Then she turned to Jane and said, "Jane, I’ll sleep in your room."

His room was in a mess from the search, and he had no mood to stay, thus proposing to go to Jane’s room, which could offset others’ suspicions about him.

Jane listened to his words, panic-stricken, nodded awkwardly, and said, "Okay," then told the assistant, "Little Smith, Little Parker, help Young Master Morris with his luggage."

As Jane left the room and brushed past Elia, she stopped, leaned over to Elia’s ear, and whispered, "Elia, are you fed up with life?"

"Big sister, I didn’t, I just heard reports from others, trying to help you catch that Little Demon." At this moment, Elia still denied, trying to disassociate herself.

But Jane replied, "As for Spencer Family’s assets, you can forget about getting a single cent. Tonight’s account, I’ll make sure to settle with you later."

After saying so, Jane followed behind Lillian, leaving the reporters to start complaining about Elia spreading nonsense, making them all excited for nothing.

Finally, even Sienna got mad, glaring impatiently at Elia and scolding, "What the heck are you doing? Are you ***?"

"Slap!" As soon as Sienna finished speaking, Elia swung her hand, landing a slap across her face, still fuming with anger, with nowhere to vent. Why should this woman dare to scold her? In a fit of rage, she struck.

Maya heard what Lillian said, her hands propping her on the sofa, her big eyes staring directly at him.

Seeing her gaze, Lillian knew she wanted him to come closer, so he took a deep breath, knelt on one knee beside her, and asked, "If you want me to call Henry, nod at me."

However, Maya neither nodded nor shook her head; instead, she raised her right hand, took his phone, sent a text message, and deleted the message.

Then, she edited a piece of text in the memo, Maya’s words enlightened Lillian, realizing that he was also one of the victims.

Afterwards, she looked into his eyes and asked, "What will you do?"

Maya continued editing a message

Upon finishing, Maya tossed the phone onto the sofa, mustered all her strength to stand up from the sofa, and left Lillian’s room.
