Chapter 155 - Stay Away from Me

Maya Spencer looked at the man with a serious face, feeling nauseous again, and suddenly pushed him away, covering her mouth as she rushed to the bathroom.

At the bathroom door, Liam Spencer watched the girl vomit messily and couldn’t help but recall the night before his business trip; she had vomited the same way. She said it was because she was inexperienced and not used to it, which is why she was sick.

At this moment, remembering his own carelessness, he was full of regret and involuntarily stepped closer to her, patting her back to show comfort.

Maya felt the man’s kindness and brushed his hand away, saying, "I don’t need your crocodile tears."

She thought, if he really cared about her at all, he would consider that she wasn’t even 20 yet and had just finished her freshman year. He wouldn’t have gotten her pregnant.

He thought, if he gives her respect, can’t she just accept it? Why put on airs!

So he took a deep breath, quickly withdrew his hand from her back, and walked away without looking back.

As Maya listened to the sound of the door closing, she felt the world finally quiet. She thought, if he would never appear before her again, that would be best.

By now, whenever Maya saw Liam, she felt upset, just hated him, disliked him, and didn’t want to see him.

After Liam left, she took a shower, changed back into her hospital gown, lay back on the bed motionless, her mind filled with thoughts of how to get rid of the baby in her stomach.

The news of the pregnancy came too quickly for her to accept. She felt the baby was torturing her, just like Liam, which was why she felt so miserable.

Lying on the hospital bed, she tossed and turned, unsure how to face her ruined self when she woke up tomorrow, uncertain of how to continue her life.

She sighed deeply, turned over, secretly wiped away tears from the corner of her eyes, and gently closed her eyes. She told herself to get rid of the child, return to the Hanson Family, tell her uncle everything she knew, and investigate the truth of her mother’s suicide together.

When she recalled that she wasn’t the Spencer family’s child, her heart ached even more. She muttered to herself, "Mom, why did you cruelly leave me behind? Why leave me with so many problems? Whose child am I?"

She cried softly, unable to control her emotions, as if her mother’s death had just happened yesterday, and she still felt terrible.

When the night was deep and silent, she finally stopped crying, hugging the pillow tightly as if it were her only support.

Now, what comforted her was that the damages to the Owen Clan and Spencer Clan stocks had brought them significant financial losses, which was a small act of revenge for herself.

Maya wouldn’t tell anyone that the photos Hannah received yesterday were sent by her. She had secretly taken those pictures, and she had already planned to lay all her cards on the table with today’s exposure. After all, she would eventually rid herself of the Spencer family’s fifth daughter title and return to being the eldest daughter of the Hanson Family.

Before that, how could she easily leave without venting after suffering so much?

After sending the photos to Hannah, she used hacker skills to schedule the release of her pregnancy report and these photos together, ensuring no one could trace it back to her.
