In Chapter 169 of "No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother": On the way to the apartment, Liam Spencer drove so fast it seemed like he... Discover the next events!
On the way to the apartment, Liam Spencer drove so fast it seemed like he could fly. He couldnât wait to see Lillian Morris, couldnât wait to get information about Maya Spencer from her mouth.
In his impatience, he forgot to consider that if Lillian had any news about Maya, she wouldnât have called to ask for her.
He remembered Maya hiding behind Lillian, unwilling to face him, and he wished he could just choke her to death.
What on earth had he done to wrong her so much? Did she really hate him that much?
Yet he didnât know that, in Mayaâs heart, heâd wronged her in every possible way, bullied her.
Lillian watched Liamâs impulsiveness and raised her hand, throwing a punch at Liamâs face!
Liam never expected Lillian to dare get physical with him; it seemed that since he called him brother-in-law, he really thought of himself as one.
So he raised his fist in return, punching him back in the face.
After Lillian was hit, he didnât continue to get rough; instead, he grabbed him by the collar and questioned, "If it wasnât for your bullying, would Maya need to hide and run away?"
"Brother-in-law, could it be that youâre falling for Maya?" Liam sneered as he listened to the manâs accusation and countered with a cold smile.
"Falling for her? Liam, do you think everyone is like you? Do you know how much harm youâve done to Maya? In her heart, youâre her brother! You knew from the start she wasnât a Spencer, but you didnât tell her and still got involved with her. Do you know how she feels when facing you?" Lillian couldnât stand the Spencer Familyâs way of doing things, but he was, after all, just an outsider with no say in their matters.
But this time, seeing Maya cornered with no way out, asking for his help, he couldnât stand it anymore and didnât care about Liamâs status as S Cityâs crown prince, confronting him.
Listening to the manâs questions, Liam smirked, finding it ironic.
A mere Lillian Morris, dating his sister, dares to lecture him â what a joke.
So he gave Lillian a push, mocking him: "What? Are you standing up for Maya? Thatâs right, I did sleep with her. If she was at peace with herself, with no desires, would things have come to this? You are all driven by greed; how can you blame others?"
Even though Liam said this, hearing Lillianâs accusations, his heart ached.
Lillian was right. He knew all the truths and was free to have an affair with Maya, but Maya knew nothing and always thought he was her brother.
At this moment, he thought of Maya calling him "third brother," thought of her being affectionate and trying to please him before their relationship turned complicated, it squeezed his heart to the point he couldnât breathe.
He remembered her softly kissing his lips, playfully telling him, "Third brother, this is as far as sisterly affection goes, any more would be incest."
He remembered their first time when she cried and pushed him away, reminding him, "Third brother, stop it, Iâm Maya."
Thinking of his blaming of her! Thinking of when he punished her, she cried her heart and lungs out! Remembering how scared she was of him, yet still determined to endure to uncover the truth behind her motherâs death, Liam felt inexplicably miserable.
Especially when he thought of how his sister and grandfather used her, thinking of her having to sleep with him for some peace, hiding in the bathroom to cry, Liam felt a heartache so intense that breathing became difficult.
Living to this day, it was the first time he felt such excruciatingly sad, to the point of dying.
He swallowed a gulp, finding his throat sore, realizing the hands that were strong enough to fight just now, were now limp and painful, as if drained of blood.
Could this be what heartache feels like? Was he really heartaching for Maya?
When he thought of her smiling at him while holding those baby products at the maternity store, asking for his opinion, he desperately wanted to see her.
For the past three days, he had been looking for her, wanting to see her, but this feeling was especially strong now.
Unlike the past few days, before tonight, he constantly thought about punishing her, scaring her, making her obediently stay by his side.
But now, he wanted to embrace her, to hold her tightly, to reassure her not to be afraid, to relax and have the child, not to worry about the child being illegitimate.
Because he would marry her, give her a name, give the child a name.
Liam had never felt this impulse before, this urge to marry someone, to protect her, to embrace her, he only remembered his prior impulse to possess Maya.
However, at this moment, his feelings underwent a massive shift, and he wanted to hug her, to apologize, to say that heâd truly be responsible, to her and the child.
Yet, as Lillian listened to Liamâs mockery, he was left speechless.
Liam said nothing wrong, they all had their own motives, only when one has no desires do they remain unexploited.
He didnât deny that there was indeed a beneficial connection in his feelings for Jane Spencer, and he knew that Jane felt the same towards him, just their relationship was a bit more amicable than other business marriages.
So, facing Liamâs aggression, he was at a loss for words.
Because in front of Liam, everyone was a weakling, he needed not care about any emotions, unless they were the ones he wanted to care about.
Seeing Lillianâs embarrassment, Liam no longer appeared sharp, perhaps realizing that his criticisms were not baseless.
Thus, he asked unhurriedly, without any emotional tone, "When did Maya come to you, why did she leave suddenly? Any clues?"
Lillian saw Liam calm down, hearing him call Maya âMaya,â and no longer being confrontational, he trusted his own feelings â Liam definitely had more than just a fling with Maya.
So he calmly replied, "She called me at ten oâclock in the morning the day before yesterday, asking for help. Sheâd been at my apartment for the past two days, and I was busy with work today, so I didnât contact her. It wasnât until I returned just now that I discovered she was gone."
He continued after finishing, "She should have gone for a prenatal check today."
Listening to Lillianâs report, Liam immediately dialed Elijah Reedâs number and instructed, "Elijah, quickly check all major hospitalsâ prenatal records today and see where Maya went."
"Yes, BOSS." Over the phone, Elijah hung up and quickly got to work.
In the apartment, Liam gave Lillian a cold glance and warned, "Lillian, youâd better only sympathize with Maya. If you dare have any other feelings, donât blame me for not showing face to my sister."
Listening to Liamâs warning, Lillian laughed dismissively, seemingly confirming his suspicions.
He knew his own feelings very well; in his eyes, the Morris Clan Group was the most important. He felt no love left.
Regarding Maya, aside from sympathy, he indeed felt nothing else.
But looking at Liamâs angry demeanor, he casually asked, "Are you jealous?"
