Jane Spencer looked at the door and then at the book in her hand, finally, she suddenly smiled and talked to herself: "This is good too, no need to fight or compete anymore."At that moment, Janeâs heart finally settled, unable to hate anyone anymore. But when she thought of Nolan Woods, who had passed away, she had no desire for freedom. She opened the book in her hand, sat down at the desk, and started reading carefully.
When the sunlight came through the narrow window, Jane felt that everything was fine; this kind of life was most suitable for her.
With Jane being imprisoned, everyoneâs life gradually returned to normal. A smile appeared again at the corners of Liam Spencerâs mouth, and he had begun living a peaceful life.
That morning, Maya Spencer was tidying Liamâs tie while saying, "Sevenâs shop is opening in a few days, you should make time to support her."
"Hmm! Iâve heard Seven has been going on dates recently. Howâs it going? Did she fancy anyone?" Liam asked indifferently, but the face of Christopher Scott flashed in his mind, looking lifeless.
Ever since being rejected by Seven Murray when he showed kindness, Christopher had become listless, looking downcast every day. Liam couldnât stand it, so he gossiped with Maya.
Maya straightened his tie with a slight push and said with a touch of loss: "Itâs not easy to find someone compatible, even though sheâs only gone on two dates. Sheâll keep going and eventually meet the right person."
Looking at the hint of loss in the girlâs eyes, Liam immediately pulled her close, pressing her against the wall, trapping her in his arms. He leaned close to her face, frowning tightly, and asked, "Maya, you seem quite interested in dating?"
Looking at the ambiguous look in the manâs eyes, Maya pouted and denied, "No way."
"No way? If not, why are you so enthusiastic? Youâve accompanied Seven on two dates. Are you tired of seeing me?" Liam didnât like Maya evaluating other men, especially her big eyes, which were particularly good at spotting othersâ merits.
Whenever he heard Maya praising other men, Liam feared she might be lured away.
Oh! He couldnât help it; he was just so narrow-minded. He hoped that Mayaâs heart and eyes only had him alone.
"Pfft..." Maya was amused by Liamâs jealous look.
So, she immediately reached out, hooked her arms around Liamâs neck, and said sweetly, "Little jealous boy, jealous again."
Seeing her acting coy, Liam immediately took his right hand off the wall, pinched her chin, and asked, "Dressed so nicely today, planning to accompany Seven on another date? Maya, I really doubt itâs you whoâs dating, not Seven."
Actually, Mayaâs clothes were very ordinary, a milky-white cashmere dress with a pale pink wool coat over it. But she was naturally beautiful, looking good in anything, and the pale pink coat made her skin look even whiter and smoother, making people want to take a bite.
Listening to the manâs questioning, Maya lowered her eyes, examined herself thoroughly, and said, "I didnât dress nicely, itâs very ordinary!"
"I say you look nice, so you do." The man domineeringly bit her face.
Maya was helpless, pouting, and helplessly asked, "Big brother, what do you think I should wear? You surely wouldnât want me to wear rags!"
Looking at the girl rolling her eyes at him, Liam felt a surge of heat and immediately bent down, biting her earlobe, and said, "Maya, big brother thinks you staying in and not wearing anything is better."
"Pfft..." As soon as Liam finished speaking, Maya laughed again.
This guy, he circled around to this, unexpectedly waiting for her here, indeed a drunkardâs intentions werenât in the wine.
However, Liam had been in a bad mood lately. They hadnât been intimate for half a month, so it wasnât surprising he was being so provocative early in the morning, using her clothes to stir things up.
After laughing, Maya raised her hand to pinch Liamâs chin, asking, "Big brother, why are you so bad? Iâll first call Seven and tell her I wonât accompany her today."
Seven Murray invited Maya to accompany her, with another intent. Maya was good-looking, and if a man looked at her a couple of times, Seven wouldnât be interested in that guy. She wouldnât be buried with danger near her, picking a boyfriend who still had feelings for her best friend.
So, when dating, she pulled Maya along to avoid later emotional shifts.
She completely trusted Maya, just testing the men to see who could withstand temptation.
In the bedroom, Liam watched the girl push him away to make a call, swallowed a mouthful of saliva, and couldnât wait to devour someone.
Thus, he didnât hesitate, quickly walked up behind Maya, wrapped his arms around her waist, and "zoom" tossed her onto the bed, then trapped her in his arms.
"What are you doing? Canât wait even for a phone call? Wait for me to finish calling Seven before dealing with you." Maya said and crawled out of Liamâs embrace, grabbing the phone on the pillow and quickly dialing Sevenâs number.
However, her call was just placed when Liam grabbed it, pulling it down a bit, trapping her underneath again.
Maya ignored Liamâs antics and continued waiting for Seven to answer the phone.
Seeing this person ignoring him, Liam immediately gave her a big squeeze.
"Mmm..." After Seven answered the call, she heard Maya make an ambiguous sound.
On the other end, Seven was speechless, thinking, this guy might not have woken up yet and dialed the wrong number!
But then, she heard Maya softly commanding, "Big brother, stop messing around, Iâm on the phone with Seven."
Listening to Mayaâs command, without Maya saying a word, Seven knew this guy couldnât accompany her dating today.
It was 8:30 AM, Liam was still at home, hadnât left, and was teasing Maya. Maya wasnât coming out today.
So, she preemptively said, "Maya, youâre busy today, no need to accompany me."
"Seven, sorry! Something came up suddenly." Maya quietly explained without telling Seven the sudden thing was Liam.
"Pfft..." Listening to Mayaâs excuse, Seven couldnât stop herself from laughing.
After laughing, she said, "Hmm! Big brotherâs in such good spirits early in the morning, make sure to exercise diligently, or you wonât manage physically."
"..." Listening to Sevenâs reminder, Maya was speechless, raising her hand to slap Liam hard to show dissatisfaction.
"Alright, donât delay your and your big brotherâs matters, good luck!"
Listening to the phone hanging up, Maya was tearful, immediately pinching Liamâs face and blaming, "All your fault! All your fault! Even Seven noticed."
Liam looked at the girlâs lovely expression, took a deep breath, and leaned over to kiss her.
"Big brother..." Maya bit her lip, struggling to call him big brother.
