Meanwhile, in Ethan Turnerās apartment, Ella Turner gripped the phone tightly, pacing back and forth in the living room.
Ever since Elijah Reed left her apartment, her heart had been hanging, constantly thinking about him, worried that Elijah might never speak to her again.
Ella couldnāt accept Elijahās attitude today; only a few hours had passed, yet it felt like centuries. It seemed to her that Elijah hadnāt contacted her in days.

Recalling Maya Spencer and Elijahās demeanor, her mind grew more lucid, and she felt she was being used by someone.
When she imagined if Liam Spencer died, who would benefit most from it, she held her breath, suddenly realizing something terrifying. Her small hand clutching the phone began to tremble involuntarily.
Immediately, she dialed Elijahās number, deciding to inform him about all this.

"Iām sorry, I shouldnāt have been so foolish," Ella apologized, wiping her tears.

"Mm!" Ella nodded, agreeing.
She didnāt speak further, just opened the lunchbox and ate quietly. She suddenly seemed to remember something, looking up at Elijah saying, "Stop by the fruit market later, I want to buy some things."
"Fruit and flowers already bought, theyāre in the back."
"How did you do it so quickly?" Ella marveled at Elijahās speed.
