Chapter 345 - You Care About Me
Chapter 345 of "No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother" begins revealing exciting developments: As soon as Maya Spencerâs voice fell, Liam Spencerâs fist immediately stopped. He quickly pushed... Donât stop now!
As soon as Maya Spencerâs voice fell, Liam Spencerâs fist immediately stopped. He quickly pushed Lillian Morris away, walked up to Maya Spencer, lifted her up, and headed toward the suite.Maya Spencer held tightly onto Liamâs neck after being picked up, looking at him with a pitiful expression, not daring to glance at Lillian with her peripheral vision, fearing Liam might explode.
Lillian Morris watched as Liam retreated mid-fight, her lips curling into a sarcastic smile.
She had absolutely no trust in Liamâsomeone who could drive Maya to attempt suicide and force her to accompany clients was nothing short of a pervert in her eyes.
In the corridor, Lillian watched the couple enter the room before turning to head to the elevator lobby to return to the city.
In the elevator, she dialed her assistant and instructed, "Little Smith, is everything I asked for ready?"
"President Morris, everything has been arranged."
"Iâm heading to the office now. Leave the documents on my desk first."
Todayâs dinner had agitated Lillian. She was eager to quickly complete the work at hand and rescue Maya Spencer; he must let Maya leave Liam, and do so peacefully.
Meanwhile, in the suite, Maya Spencer sat on the sofa with her pants rolled up. Her sprained ankle was swollen. Liam squatted beside her, furrowing his brows as he stared at her ankle. "Letâs go to the hospital now."
"The doctor can just bloodlet it." Liam planned to stay at the resort since he was on vacation, and she didnât want to ruin his plans.
Moreover, after the commotion earlier, Lillian was bound to leave anyway. If she and Liam left now, she worried theyâd draw attention.
Liam looked at the girlâs stubbornness, reflecting on her earlier call for "Third Brother," which warmed his heart.
While he knew she was diverting his attention, she chose him between him and Lillian, which gave Liam some comfort.
Maya saw Liam constantly staring at her injured foot, so she raised her right hand, touching his head carefully and reminding him, "Youâre hurt."
"Youâre concerned about me?" Liam heard the girlâs concern and immediately lifted his head, looking straight into her eyes.
Liamâs injury wasnât serious. Maya was merely trying to please him, hoping to soothe his emotions.
Seeing his persistent demand for an answer now made Maya embarrassingly unable to voice her care for Liam. If she denied it, it would certainly invoke a storm.
Thus, she awkwardly smiled, pulled back her right hand, scratched her hair, and avoided looking at Liam.
Liam noticed Maya avoiding him and thought she was shy; he quickly caught her hand that was scratching, asking again, "Hmm?"
Liamâs gaze made Maya increasingly tense, making it difficult for her to answer such a tough question. Perhaps itâd be easier to just nod and get it over with.
But when she met Liamâs gaze, ready to brush it off, she suddenly felt guilty.
Liamâs gaze was too persistent and earnest for her to deceive him.
Though the word "earnest" seemed unfitting for Liam, Maya couldnât find a more suitable one at the moment.
Hence the words at the tip of her tongue were swallowed back, and she withdrew her hand from his palm, pointing at his eye corner, grinning and saying, "This part seems quite seriously hurt?"
"Maya Spencer, are you concerned about me?" Liam insisted on getting an answer.
"Knock, knock, knock!" Just as Maya was about to lie, there was a knock on the door.
So, she quickly changed the subject, asking, "Is the doctor here?"
Liam watched her evasive eyes helplessly, stood up from the floor, and went to open the door â sure enough, the doctor had arrived.
On the sofa in the living room, Maya watched the doctor carrying a medical kit, relieved, thinking sheâd finally evaded things for now.
Immediately afterwards, the doctor began bloodletting and treating Maya.
When the pain made Maya cry out, Liam quickly stretched his arm to her lips for her to bite.
Maya stared in astonishment at the man extending his arm, forgetting her foot pain, blinking her big eyes and staring at him straight.
Liam watched the girlâs pitiful expression and touched her lips with his arm, indicating she need not hesitate. But still, Maya dared not bite him.
It wasnât until the doctor began bloodletting with cupping that she suddenly hugged his arm and bit without restraint, tears "pitter-pattering" onto Liamâs arm.
After bloodletting her ankle hematoma, Liamâs arm had bruised from her biting, yet he remained motionless throughout, not even taking a deep breath.
Watching the bite marks on his arm, Mayaâs heart slightly stirred. She looked up at his handsome face, sincerely said, "Thank you!"
Only then did Liam glance at his right arm, rubbing the tooth marks with his left hand, calmly saying, "Itâs nothing."
He said it was nothing, though it hurt tremendously, but he had to maintain his image, so he endured.
After treating Mayaâs injury, the doctor looked at Liam and asked, "Third Young Master, your injuryâ"
"Iâm fine." Liam interrupted before the doctor could finish.
"Third Brother, have the wounds treated! The doctor is here anyway."
Liam listened to Mayaâs somewhat worried tone, turned to glance at her, then extended his arm toward the doctor, saying, "Just deal with this wound, lest I get rabies."
Listening to someoneâs sarcasm, Maya was not pleased, pouting her mouth, rolling her eyes at him in complaint, "Iâm not a dog."
"Thatâs not certain." Liam shrugged, bantering.
"If I were, with all those kisses, youâd have long been infected." Maya retorted indignantly.
"Pfft!" Liam was amused by Mayaâs counter, quickly withdrew his hand, chuckling to the doctor, "Iâm fine. How long will it take for Maya Spencerâs injury to heal? Will there be any aftereffects?"
"Miss Hanson will recover in about ten days, rest assured, thereâll be no aftereffects." After briefing on Mayaâs condition, the doctor continued, "Third Young Master, you two are busy, Iâll take my leave now."
"Mm, thank you." As the doctor prepared to leave, Liam put his hands in his pockets and followed him to see him out.
Maya suddenly stood up, watched the doctorâs back, and asked, "Doctor Lowe, could you leave some medicine for me?"
Hearing Mayaâs words, the doctor promptly stopped and returned to the sofa. He opened the medical kit, left some medicine behind, and reminded, "Miss Hanson, remember to go for a check-up and change the dressing daily."
"Mm, thank you, Doctor Lowe."
After sending away the doctor, Liam returned to the living room and looked at the medicine on the coffee table, asking puzzledly, "You plan on changing the dressing yourself?"
"Keep it, itâll come in handy," Maya responded nonchalantly.
Then, she quickly looked toward Liam, blinking her big eyes, pitifully pleading, "I got hurt today, can I skip the bath and just go to sleep?"
