Elijah Reed watched the girl cry her heart out, feeling something indescribable inside.He was an only child and didnāt understand the sibling bond, but seeing Ella Turner so heartbroken, he suddenly understood a bit.
He looked at her swollen eyes and said gently, "From now on, Iāll be your brother."
Ella Turner, listening to Elijahās comfort, shook her head and said, "Itās different, completely different. Youāre not Ethan, you wonāt understand him."

Elijah looked at the girl crying in his arms, never realizing before how important he was to someone.
So, he held Ella all night without letting her go.

When Liam Spencer woke up, Maya Spencer was still cuddling him in her sleep. To not disturb her, he held his bladder till 10 AM. Once Maya opened her eyes, he hurried to the bathroom.
When Liam came out of the bathroom, Maya had already gotten up from the bed and was changing clothes.
Liam saw this and quickly pulled her, asking, "Maya, you havenāt slept for four days. Rest a little longer."
"Third brother, I need to see Ella."
"Sleep for another two hours; weāll have lunch together." Liam didnāt agree with her, his heart ached seeing Maya neglect her health.
"Third brother, Iām begging you, let me go! Even if I lay down now, I wouldnāt be able to sleep." Maya explained helplessly.
Listening to the girlās explanation, Liam suddenly pulled her into his arms, whispered in her ear, and asked, "Maya, what should I do with you?"
Before, Liam always thought she was cold and indifferent. But after being with Maya for a long time, he realized she was more affectionate and deeply emotional than anyone. Itās just that she wouldnāt easily give her affection to others.
Looking at the fragile Maya, Liam didnāt want anyone to upset her, and he especially didnāt want to do it himself.

"Ella." Maya, feeling wronged, held the bowl and placed the noodles next to her mouth.
Ella didnāt open her mouth, so Maya kept holding the noodles there until Ella took a bite, and then Maya smiled at her with relief.
Ethan stood aside, watching Ella finally eat, and couldnāt help but heave a sigh of relief.
Just then, his phone suddenly rang. Seeing it was the hospital calling, he quickly went into the study to take the call.
He was afraid if anything happened, Ella and Maya would get agitated again.
After finishing the call, he leaned towards Liamās ear and whispered, "BOSS, Ethanās colleague, Kay, has woken up. Iām going to take a look."
"No rush here, go back and rest first. The patient just woke up and needs to recover too." Liam had noticed Elijahās fatigue over the past few days, so he added, "Little Lewis is downstairs, Iāll have him drive you over. Wherever you need to go these days, let him drive you."
Liam was worried Elijah was too tired and feared another accident might happen.
"BOSS, Iām fine, Iām not tired. Little Lewis is your driver, how could I let him drive for me?" Elijah was embarrassed.
"Iām not in the mood to argue with you, go downstairs first, Iāll call Little Lewis."
"Alright," Elijah accepted anyway.
After Elijah left, Maya turned around and asked, "Where did you let Elijah go?"
"There are some matters at the company I asked Elijah to handle."
"Maya, you and the dean donāt have to come here every day, Iām really fine." Ella felt guilty hearing the word ācompany.ā
Because of her family matters, the chairman of the Owen Clan Group hadnāt gone to the office in days.
"Eat your noodles." Confronted with Ellaās bravado, Maya wouldnāt accept it.
Downstairs, driver Little Lewis received a call from Liam and quickly drove Elijah back.
Due to exhaustion over the past few days, Elijah fell asleep in the car. Once home, he took a shower, lay on the bed for a few hours, then got up to go to the hospital.
In the VIP ward of the hospital, Kayās family gathered around him, asking questions.
